Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) refer to a new generation of vehicles where the core value, functionality, and competitive differentiation are primarily determined by software. This is achieved through a centralized electrical and electronic architecture and a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that decouples hardware and software, supporting over-the-air (OTA) upgrades throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle and continuous functional evolution.
